With multiple lakes, a world-class university and the sports that go along with it, a green mindset, good schools, arts and culture, an enviable amount of restaurants and local shops, a thriving tech scene, low unemployment, the best farmer’s market in the Midwest, endless opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts, a fantastic music scene and a gorgeous state capitol, Madison is arguably one of the greatest places in the US to live. Numerous accolades have been given to the city that say just that: Best place to retire, best place for start-ups, best place for women, best place for outdoor lovers, greenest city, best for bicycling, best college football town, best for young adults, best for gays, best for craft beer, best for single moms, and on and on. Seems everyone thinks it’s a pretty cool place to live. We couldn’t agree more.
