Growing up, Paul Haviland had a mom, two uncles, and a grandfather in real estate, so it’s no surprise that he started studying for his real estate license in high school. After graduating from the Milwaukee School of Engineering where he played hockey and studied mechanical engineering—and picked up his habit of methodical and process-driven practices—Paul worked for Epic as a project manager. During this time, despite lots of time spent traveling for work, he began to acquire and self-manage investment properties.

Since 2013, Paul’s endless energy has been focused on helping buyers and sellers as part of the Haviland team. His humor, level-headedness, strong integrative negotiating skills and competitive nature work in favor of his clients. With years of experience as the owner of his own growing rental property and management company, Paul’s specialty is helping others buy or sell investment property.

Paul plays as hard as he works. Being surrounded by nature keeps him focused, so he spends his time sailing, water skiing, kayaking, playing ice hockey, pheasant hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, or exploring nearby towns with his wife in search of things like the best dive bar burger.

His home: Paul loves the location, simplicity and outdoor space at their cozy Lake Mendota home in Middleton that he shares with his wife, Krystle and their two daughters.
